Jessica Moore IGMS, ICMG and owner of Show Stoppers Pet Styling in Mundelein, Illinois. Jessica has been a pet stylist for 16 years but started working in a grooming salon in her early teens bathing dogs. After several years of grooming on her own for both corporate and private salons, she took the leap into the grooming competition ring in 2006, which was exactly one year after attending her first trade show at the All American Grooming Show in 2005. Attending more trade shows, seminars, workshops, private lessons and working on her certification through IPG, learning more quickly became priority number one on top of competing full time. After accelerating in the competition ring quickly she moved from entry-level to open level in a matter of a few shows. Jessica has won a multitude of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place wins including many group placements in entry, intermediate and open level as well as several Best Groomed Dog Awards and Best in Show.
After taking a break from competing for a few years to focus on growing her family as well as her business, Jessica is now getting back into the ring and taking it a step further in giving private lessons and doing hands on Poodle workshops with another groomer friend. In addition to grooming shows, running a business and private lessons Jessica also shows her two Standard Poodles in AKC conformation shows with her Daughter Janae who is quickly following in her Mother’s footsteps.
Jessica and her husband Terrell live in Kenosha, Wisconsin with their four children, Jordan, Janae, Judah and Jaxson. 3 Standard Poodles, Siren, Denali and Kalea as well as Rumor the Great Dane. They also share their lives with their rescue cat named Onyx and a few Guinea Pigs. Jessica looks forward to this next chapter of her career.
